Bonjour! My name is Jordan and I’m a senior studying international finance and fashion management at École Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliques (ESLSCA) in Paris, France. I moved to Paris to study abroad but fell in love with the city and decided to make it my permanent home. Even though I’ve lived here for three years now, I still love being surrounded by fashion every day and the people around me are a constant source of inspiration. Over the past several months, I realised that I am passionate about photography and creative writing as well as fashion.
My style has definitely evolved and become more sophisticated since moving to Paris, but I’m always on the lookout for ways to update my look or adopt a cool new trend. What I love about fashion is the freedom of expression it gives you—clothes are like art you can wear! Being trend-conscious is important but personally, style is extremely individual which is what makes it so exciting. I’m really looking forward to sharing my Parisian savoir-faire and being a first-time Style Guru this semester.
For this look, I took a pair of my favorite black skinny jeans and paired them with a chunky cable knit sweater, which I borrowed from my boyfriend for a casual look for class. I topped it off with a light pink Panama hat and some comfortable yet sexy leather boots. For the finishing touch, I grabbed my favorite black Stella McCartney bag.
