Hello, beauties! I am Jordan, and I am thrilled to be a returning Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this summer. I am currently a junior studying fashion merchandising, marketing and studio art at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Some of my hobbies include yoga, making art and doing pretty much anything outdoors with my little pup. I love to go to secondhand stores and scour through the racks to find the hidden treasures inside and recently, I have started to repurpose old clothes and transform them into new garments. Fashion has been extremely important to me ever since I was a child and I can definitely thank my mother for that (we live by the words of Carrie Bradshaw). I am thankful to be living out my dream and working towards a career in the fashion industry!
The pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans I am wearing in this outfit was one of the treasures I found at my local Salvation Army. I love the styles from the ’90s, so these mom jeans just screamed my name. The cropped sweater is from Urban Outfitters, one of my favorite stores to shop. I love this crop top because I like to mix neutral pieces with a bright pop of color, like the cherry red in my shirt with the beige. The jewelry in my outfit is all extremely special to me; each piece was given to me by a friend or family member, and I incorporate them in my ensembles almost every day.
Aside from clothing, makeup is another love of mine. I don’t just love to paint canvases—I love to paint my face as well! My favorite brand of makeup is Kat Von D’s. I am dedicated to this brand because the products are vibrant, long lasting and vegan. My contour is the Shade and Light kit and my lipstick is the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita.
