Hi, everyone! I am Jordan, and this is my third semester as a Style Guru intern for CollegeFashionista. I currently study fashion merchandising, marketing and art at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and hope to become a visual merchandiser upon graduation.
Aside from keeping up to date on the newest fashion and beauty trends, I love to do yoga (yay for cute workout clothes), spend my time outside and be surrounded by my friends. Since starting my time with CollegeFashionista, I have paid much more attention to fashion photography and have really taken a liking to taking pictures and trying new things with my camera.
My personal style ranges drastically, so I dress the way I feel that day. The look I chose to showcase today is just an everyday casual outfit that I would wear around campus. I had my favorite pair of high-waisted black jeans, my trusty Vans and a ringer T-shirt from Gypsy Warrior, which has been one of my favorite brands for the past few years. This is a perfect back-to-school outfit because it can be worn on hotter or cooler days, hence the leather jacket.
My makeup look was inspired by the lovely Carli Bybel, and featured shades from her eye shadow palette along with a glittery shadow from ColourPop Cosmetics. To contour, I used the Shade and Light palette from Kat Von D’s line of makeup, and used highlighters from the Carli Bybel palette. I try very hard to stick to cruelty-free companies when I purchase my makeup, so if you are looking to switch over, those are some great brands to check out!
