Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Jorden Williams and I am a junior at Bowling Green State University. My major is apparel merchandise and product development with a minor in marketing. This is my first semester as a Style Guru, and I am so excited to join the CollegeFashionista team!
For as long as I can remember I have always loved everything about fashion, including the confidence an outfit gives you and being able to show your personality through any piece of clothing you put on. I am a firm believer in the quote, “If you like it, wear it,” because fashion has no boundaries and no rules. The key to style is about learning who you are and not being afraid to bend a few rules.
I would describe my style as edgy, vintage, and casual all combined. Some days you’ll catch me in a flannel with leggings, then the next in a leather jacket and heels. I love switching up my style. Finding a piece of clothing and making it unique is my favorite aspect of fashion. My closet is full of black clothing, because I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker color, am I right?
I’m forever dreaming of Chanel and Gucci, but until then my favorite stores would have to be Forever 21, Love Culture, and Tobi. My hobbies include taking photos, and of course, shopping. In my outfit above I am wearing ripped boyfriend jeans with fishnet stockings underneath and topped with my favorite leather jacket I wear everywhere, and my go-to peep toe booties.
