Hello Fashionistas/Fashionistos! My name is Julia Daoud and I am a senior at DePaul University studying the Health Sciences. I am so excited to be coming back for my fourth semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista!
I remember when I was just four years old putting on every single fancy dress in my closet, stealing my moms heels and treating my house as a runway. Little did my younger self know that 15 years later, I would start my own fashion and lifestyle blog which led me to finding this amazingly rad company. I can’t believe it was exactly a year ago that I began writing for CollegeFashionista and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing and inspiring this experience has been! I certainly think little four-year-old me would be proud!
Although my personal style has evolved greatly, I must say that what has not changed is my desire to always have a timelessly identifiable look. As a minimalist, I value simplicity and strive to live a life that embraces the purest essence of all things from the people I meet to the clothes I wear and everything in between. There is beauty in simplicity and I make sure to incorporate that into my day-to-day wardrobe and lifestyle.
