Hello everyone! My name is Julia Michael. I am a sophomore at Liberty University where I am studying fashion merchandising. My dream job is to start my own clothing and lifestyle business when I graduate. I cannot wait to try my hand at fashion blogging and show you a little glimpse of the style here on campus.
Having grown up in mountains of Virginia, I find myself driving back roads, chasing fog, and looking for the perfect picture. Photography has always been something that I love, and I have recently begun exploring both portraiture and fashion photography. I use Instagram as a platform to share my photography. In addition to this, I also spend much of my time figure skating, reading, and writing. Music has played a large role in shaping who I am and is a foundation for my creativity. When I’m not in classes, you will find me sipping lattes at my local coffee shop.
My style is best summed up as black jeans and a half-tuck on rainy autumn day. But in reality, my closet is comprised of a variety of styles including classic, vintage-inspired looks, as well as neutrals and minimalistic basics. I love dressing for cooler weather;Â comfy sweaters and layers are my go-to. After spending most of my summer overseas, I find my style influenced by two of my favorite cities: London and ReykjavÃk. My favorite brand is Madewell, but I always love to browse the local thrift stores for unique pieces. Creating an individual look is one of the most important aspects of fashion to me.
