Hello, my fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Kailey Day and I am sophomore at Kent State University. I am studying fashion merchandise with a dual minor in marketing and business! This is my second semester with CollegeFashionista and I am so excited to be back!
I am obsessed with all things fashion, photography, and puppies! Having an outlet like this internship as somewhere I can put all of those things into one is so amazing (I’m still working on the puppies part). My style is something I find is always changing but that is the fun of it! It is important to have a go-to look but I do not think you should get comfortable in it.
Trends are always evolving and changing so fast and whether you are ready or not. That is what makes the fashion industry so exciting. If you asked me why I want to pursue a career in the fashion industry, that is why. I want people to love fashion and be as excited as I am.
For this look, I first put on this simple black, ribbed turtleneck then I paired it with these ankle jeans! I knew I was missing something after I put my booties on, so I was looking in my closet for something a little different than I would normally choose. I came across this slip and tried it on not thinking much of it. After I stared at myself in the mirror for 10 minutes, I was pleasantly satisfied with this look!
