Hi I’m Kaitlyn, but you can call me Kait! I’m a Public Relations major at Virginia Commonwealth University, with a particular love for social media, fashion and cosmetics.
As a Richmond native, it was no surprise to my friends and family when I decided to spend my four years of college right at home in the city. Richmond is extremely diverse in culture, offering a lot of different variety when it comes to restaurants, festivals and concerts, social scenes and of course taste in fashion! This is something I’ve always loved about the small river city and feel like it’s a contributing reason to my own varied tastes in music, food and fashion.
I currently work at a salon, which drives my passion for the beauty and fashion industries on a daily basis. Nicole Richie, Jessie James Decker and Olivia Culpo are some of my celebrity icons that I find myself constantly turning to for inspiration. To me, their combined styles are glam, boho and a little rock ‘n’ roll, all of which I love! Bumble and bumble has my heart when it comes to hair products, while Too Faced and Tarte have won me over in the makeup department too many times to count.
Other things to note about me include my one true love of coffee, the fact that I love doing my hair and makeup but will never pass up the opportunity to wear leggings and a sweatshirt. Last of all, I could listen to The Red Hot Chili Peppers all day long, and I can’t say no to a cute pair of shoes.
