Hello everyone, my name is Kaitlyn Chitvaranund, and I am glad to be back for my second term with CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru! If you do not already know, I come from a small town in Maryland, but I came to Kent, Ohio to pursue my passion for fashion. I am a fashion merchandising major and business minor at Kent State University. I enjoy outdoor activities and enjoying quality time with friends and family. I also love to spend my time shopping and watching movies. I love finding new places to go to and explore, or to enjoy a good meal with friends. I cannot wait to start sharing my photos and posts with everyone, and I am looking forward to a #RAD semester!
From August to September, it is all about transition. Summer is winding down and everyone is returning to school. Here, I styled the perfect outfit for transitioning from summer to fall. I am wearing a black halter top and I paired it with blue skinny jeans. It is a little cooler in Ohio than it is in Maryland, so jeans are definitely a safe option. I rolled the cuffs of my pants to stay cool and to also add more detail to my look. No pun intended, but to tie my look together, I paired my look with some black lace-up flats from Nine West. For my accessories, I kept it simple with a delicate gold and black necklace, so it would not overwhelm my halter top. I also wore my rose gold Michael Kors watch and Alex and Ani bracelets. I tried to keep the gold theme throughout my look. Every Fashionista needs to carry all their essentials. Here I have my Louis Vuitton tote bag. I carry my life in my bag, so I definitely cannot go without it. For me, simplicity is key and you do not want to overwhelm your look with accessories.
I’m so happy to be apart of CollegeFashionista again! I am excited for the fall season and I can’t wait to share what trends and styles the students of Kent State will be wearing.
