Hi Fashionistas/os! I am so happy and excited to be back for my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I have really enjoyed the experience this past summer and I learned so much. I have discovered a deeper love for photography and writing. I really learned how to write and photograph better. There was no way I could possibly give up writing for CollegeFashionista this semester.
Now I am headed into my senior year of college, which is exciting yet sad at the same time. I am definitely planning on making the most of my senior year and I am excited to bring to you all of the hottest fashions for the fall.
My style developed so much over the summer. I’ve learned so much about styling outfits based off of what some of my previous Fashionistas have done. I also came to realize that my favorite thing in the world is probably clothing with black and white stripes. I didn’t realize how obsessed I actually was until my friends pointed it out to me. After that I took a look in my closet and I realized that the majority of what I own is black and white stripes, including my phone case. I thought it was only fitting that I wear a black and white striped dress for my STYLE GURU BIO pictures because it is my favorite thing ever.
Overall, I still consider my style to be very preppy. I love pearls, monograms and, of course, Lilly Pulitzer. My greatest obsession of all is still glitter and rhinestones. I love anything that sparkles. I love to add a little drama to my outfits through accessories. I’m wearing my kate spade watch with gold glitter which perfectly fits my style.
Fall has to be one of my favorite seasons. It’s the season of comfy oversized sweaters, brown riding boots (I know I can’t wait to start wearing mine) and, of course, pumpkin spice lattes. I can’t wait to share all of the new fall trends and styles with you this semester.
