Hi everyone! My name is Kali Wallace and I am a fashion-loving girl living in Pittsburgh. After a rad summer, I am very happy to be a returning as a Style Guru once again for the fall semester. I had so much fun searching for Fashionistas on campus over the summer, and I could not be more excited to get back to the hunt just in time for my favorite season.
I recently transferred to the University of Pittsburgh where I’m studying marketing. Ideally, I will be working in the fashion industry after graduation. I would love to land a job as some type of social media maven. I take Instagram way too seriously, and try to keep up with posting on my personal style blog. As you’ve probably guessed I get most of my fashion and everyday inspiration from social media. In my spare time, I’m usually watching look books and hauls on YouTube, catching up on some of my favorite bloggers’ posts or browsing Instagram.
I like to think my personal style is simple and minimalistic, but since I color my hair every three weeks and spend at least an hour doing my makeup and choosing an outfit everyday, I guess it’s more effortlessly chic. I love having staple pieces in my wardrobe that will never go out of style to mix with trendy pieces that I might only wear for a season. Some items I could never live without are a leather jacket, a camo anorak, a pair of boyfriend jeans and a nice big tote!
Pittsburgh is not known as one of the most stylish cities. In fact, it was voted one of the worst-dressed cities in the America. I love being a Style Guru and sharing the amazing stylish Fashionistas in this city because it gives me a chance to show the world that Pittsburgh knows fashion, and there are plenty of fashionable people!
