Hello, all the fashion lovers! My name is Kamila Jambulatova, and I am a junior journalism student at University of Missouri-Columbia. I can’t believe this is my fourth semester with CollegeFashionista. It’s been three amazing semesters, and I am convinced there will be many more to come.
Last semester was very special for me since I got a chance to study abroad in Milan, Italy. This time was filled with endless trips, adventures, new people and great fashion. As I observed all the great outfits all over Europe, my own style has evolved. Laid back cool from Germany, effortless chic from Paris, put-together glamour from Italy – it has been the best experience to learn more about culture and fashion from so many different places in this world. Seeing all those models and Kendall Jenner instagramming pictures of Duomo made my head dizzy for all the Milan Fashion Week excitement that I was so lucky to observe. Great outfits and unforgettable looks, chic boutiques and that Europe feel made me realize all over again how much I love beauty, art and fashion.
Europe definitely changed my style. More than ever black dresses have appeared in my wardrobe, and I continued adoring those oversized silhouettes. My looks became a little more glamorous and classic. Dark chocolate fur coat, black dress and red lips – this is definitely going to be my go-to winter outfit.
Europe with all the stylish European boys was absolutely amazing, but I missed Mizzou, and I am excited to go back and see all the dear friends I’ve missed. I am also excited to go back to hunting for all the Fashionistas/os on Mizzou campus. So stay tuned for more articles coming to you every Thursday.
