Hi there, Fashionista/os! My name is Kamille Austria and I am currently approaching my third year (out of six) in St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy as a student in the Pharm.D. program. When it comes to both my sense of style and my personality, I’ve been a hybrid between a “girly girl” and “one of the boys” well before college. I grew up wearing ballet slippers and tennis shoes, and I still find myself deciding whether I should go with a pair of flats or Nike Free trainers.
I attribute my taste not only to the fashion habits I’ve carried growing up, but also to the inspiration that living in New York City has granted me. The city’s diversity encourages me to bring bits of its different forms of art and expressions of culture with me wherever I go.
I’ve taken a casual and comfortable, yet classy and wearable look on my short trip to Florida to kick off the season. A little black dress (here is another option for petite girls like myself) can be appropriate for the warmer seasons paired with a topknot, a matte lip (I’m wearing Pillow Talk by Colourpop) and neutral accessories, such as my French grey wristlet and multi-toned aviator sunglasses (both by Tory Burch). I’ve completed the minimalistic look with my favorite black trainers and rose gold Apple Watch Sport.
I’ll be back in NYC soon with so much more to share. I’m excited to spend my #SummerSixteen with you!
