Hey, Fashionistas/os! My name is Kasia and I am a senior at DePaul University, studying Public Relations and Advertising, and Organizational Communication. This semester, I am not only a Style Guru (for a second semester!), but I am also an editorial and in-office intern for CollegeFashionista. Needless to say, I’ve enjoyed my time with CollegeFashionista and can’t wait to see what this next semester brings!
I’ve never successfully categorized my style, since I gather inspiration from a variety of styles and mediums. My outfits range from preppy to boho-chic and minimalistic to internship casual, and lately I’ve found a lot of style inspo from Free People’s Insta. I tend to live my life in a colorful array of dresses, skirts and rompers.
I’ve always been really into color-blocking, and my obsession with the color black somehow makes its way into most of my ensembles. This past summer, I decided to explore new color palettes outside of my comfort zone, which resulted in the purchase of this bright yellow Topshop dress.
When I’m not talking or writing about fashion, I like to occupy my time with organizing and attending events on campus. I love distance running, and this semester I’ll be attempting to run my first half marathon. Furthermore, I love taking advantage of the abundant professional and sightseeing opportunities that Chicago has to offer!
