Hi everybody, my name is Kate and I’m currently a senior at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. I am a communications major with a focus in public relations. This is my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and I can’t begin to explain how excited I am. I am also serving as a Social Media Intern this semester as well.
My first semester as a Style Guru was amazing and opened my eyes to so many other people my age who are working towards the same goals. I love the inspiration I have found in this community and it continues to push me closer to my dreams every day.
After graduation I hope to put all I have learned into a career focusing on social media marketing for cosmetic brands. In my free time I create makeup tutorials and beauty related videos for my YouTube channel that I just recently started.
When I’m not creating looks for my channel you can find me putting outfits together that usually consist of over-sized denim jackets, colorful bodysuits, and torn up boyfriend jeans. Currently I’ve been obsessed with mixing denim pieces together in one look. While denim on denim may seem unconventional, I think 2017 is going to be the year of breaking the rules for street style.
I know this is going to be another incredible semester creating content for CollegeFashionista and I can’t wait to see what other Fashionistas/os have in store. See you on the next one!
