Hi all! Can you believe first semester is over already?! Fall is my favorite season, but winter definitely provides a ton of fashion inspiration for me. If you know me, you know I am a HUGE coat person. This year I hope to find my staple coat. One that’s maybe a little out of my comfort zone. As I said last semester, I was hoping to really explore my style last year by trying new ideas and looks that I wouldn’t usually go for. That won’t stop this year. With the new year and new season I cannot wait to do some more experimenting. There are so many different styles to try out and by taking pictures of the Fashionistas and Fashionistos on my campus I am able to expose myself to new looks that I could incorporate in my own outfits.
Being a Style Guru allows me to do what I love which is pretty much talk about fashion with whoever will listen. By asking the Fashionistas and Fashionistos on my campus about their styles and what they’re wearing I am able to learn so much about new brands, trends and people’s personal anecdotes on all things fashion. Everyone has such different tastes and I love it because it would be so boring if we all wore the same things. Especially in New York City, I meet so many people who love to experiment and step out of their comfort zones. It is beyond inspiring and motivates me everyday. Walking around the city is constant inspiration for future outfits and I can only hope that maybe I’m doing the same for someone else.
