Hello lovelies, I’m Katie Bayless hailing from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I’m 19 years old and majoring in consumer, apparel, and retail studies with a concentration in global industries.
Anyone who knows me always associates me with the word “fashionable.” Whether I’m dressing myself or styling others, I always make sure the outfit is perfection. You can catch me surfing many fashion-oriented websites or flipping through the newest magazines. I like to say that my style is sophisticated, classic and feminine. My go-to color is black and it always will be. Since black is such a fabulous base, I tend to lean towards accessories that glam up the outfit, whether it’s a statement necklace or some killer shoes.
When I’m not obsessing over fashion I’m usually listening to Dave Matthews and Childish Gambino, running my self-titled blog, katiebayless, playing the violin or guitar or binge-watching shows on Netflix. I also love being outside with my great dane/chocolate lab mix named Hershey, where we explore the many trails near my home.
I consider myself a goal-setter. It doesn’t matter how little the job is because I will always have some sort of goal. That being said, my long-term goal is to be a wardrobe stylist. There is nothing more exciting to me than figuring out the style of a certain character and figuring out what he/she should wear. I think it allows exploration of styles that you may not chose to wear but have always appreciated. I know I will put my all into getting to that place.
