Well hello there Fashionistas! My name is Kelly Palmer and I am a junior at Appalachian State University majoring in public relations with a minor in apparel design and merchandising. Between school, my blog Delightfully Du Jour, my job as an Estee Lauder Beauty Advisor and the gym I am constantly on the go. Because of my busy schedule I like to stay as comfortable as possible, so it’s easy to say I would describe my style as sporty chic street style. I’m a sucker for a cute pair of sneakers, I love to add a pop of color to any ensemble and you won’t catch me without gold accented accessories. My dream is to work in public relations for a fashion or cosmetics company and also to do freelance work through my blog. I live in Boone, North Carolina with my twin sister and two cats Mini and Coop. I grew up in Pinehurst, North Carolina which some of you golf lovers may be familiar with. I’ve traveled to Amsterdam, Paris, London, Mexico and Nicaragua. I hope to travel the rest of the world someday.
I have a slight obsession with French bulldogs, Kate Spade, Lululemon and white chocolate mochas. I have pretty much the worst sweet tooth ever and I follow The Walking Dead religiously. I spent some time blogging and styling photo shoots for a local boutique called Darci & Company and I hope to transfer some of those learning experiences over to my CollegeFashionista articles. I love any creative challenge and I hope to live and work in a big city after school mainly because I love the fast pace of the city. Family and God are number one because I know I would be nowhere near where I am with out them. For this look I’m wearing a black V-neck sweater from Forever 21, leather panel leggings from Nordstrom, adidas Superstar Up sneakers, and a black and white checkered blanket scarf. This is a go-to look for me when I have a super busy day when I just want to be comfortable and warm in my small mountain town! I topped this look off with some gold accessories and the simple baby pink lipstick, “Snob” by MAC. I hope you guys enjoyed my bio and thank you for stopping by. Stay tuned for more articles coming soon, happy new year Fashionistas!
