Hey! My name is Kelsha (pronounced KEL-shuh). I am fashion merchandising major at East Carolina University minoring in business administration. I love fashion and anything fashion-related, hence the reason why I wanted to become a Style Guru. My future aspiration is to own a trendy boutique located in Charlotte, which is my hometown. While pursuing my career goals, I would love to travel to the fashion capitals around the world including New York City, Paris and Tokyo.
In my free time, I enjoy binge-watching Netflix, learning makeup tips and lifestyle hacks from YouTubers, cooking (and indulging in what I cooked) and hanging out with friends. I love things that allow you to express yourself including art, music, dance and of course fashion. I am always singing and dancing, even while getting dressed. They say the more you laugh the longer you’ll live. This means I have a long life expectancy.
Black is my go-to color. I believe you can never own too much black. As Neiman Marcus so eloquently put it, “women who wear black lead colorful lives.” Many of my ensembles are based around a black piece. If I feel like putting in a little oomph, then I’ll add a pop of color. I wish I could say that I could define my style, but it honestly varies. I will say that my love for relaxed outfits, neutral shades and earthy fabrics such as denim and suede draw me toward the bohemian look.
