Let’s hear it for another summer in Statesboro and another amazing semester with CollegeFashionista! My name is Kendra Cray and this will be my fourth fashionable semester as a Style Guru intern.
I have always had a love for fashion. From dressing up in my mom’s clothes when I was younger to now dressing up in my friends’ closets almost any chance I get. My life seems like a never-ending wardrobe change. I hope that all of my interests and experiences will lead me to starting my own clothing boutique or become a buyer for a major retail company. Until then, you can find me in the good ‘ole ‘Boro blogging daily on CollegeGirlKendra or Her Campus Georgia Southern. I am a rising senior majoring in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising at Georgia Southern University and I cannot wait to share the style my campus has to offer.
In lieu of the feeling that is “summertime fine”, I chose something summer-chic. I opted for my denim high-waisted shorts with a chiffon fly-a-way top. There are nothing like summertime whites that give you a fresh and fashionable look. My teal accented chunky statement necklace complemented my fur jacket and even tied together with my black booties. Who said furs are just for the winter? Let your fierce furs live all season long! My outfit expressed playful yet daring summertime style.
I cannot wait to begin both my fourth semester and second summer with CollegeFashionista, so stick with me! Fall 2016 should bring about some awesome looks!
