Hello and welcome my fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I am Kija Chronister and this is my first semester interning for CollegeFashionista, and I can’t tell you how excited I am! I am going into my sophomore year at Temple University majoring in Communication Studies. All my life I have grown up in a small countryside town, so when I was looking at colleges I knew I wanted to break free into the city life. Living in Philadelphia for just about a year was absolutely amazing and made me realize how much of a city girl I am. I can’t wait to continue to explore the city one street at a time.
As for my fashion sense, there isn’t really one specific word to describe it. I tend to keep my style rather simple and casual with a pop of color or different accessories. Since summer is right around the corner I get to bring out one of my favorite clothing articles: shift dresses! Dresses are so simple to throw on in the morning and easy to dress up with a statement necklace and cute sandals. So, of course, for the outfit I am wearing it is none other than a shift dress.
As you can see I am wearing a black and white striped shift dress that I decided to pair with a black and sliver layered necklace. As for my shoes I am rocking my super comfy and stylish white sandals. I also have a special love for big purses, so I am using my black Audrey Brooke bag that is perfect for carrying all my necessities! Also I added a variety of different rings to finish off the look. This outfit represents the simplicity of my personal style while also adding fun accessories to make it more fashionable and fun.
I am excited to see what CollegeFashionista has in store for me and to gain inspiration for my style from other Fashionista/os looks!
