Hi, my fellow Fashionistas/os! I am a returning Style Guru this summer and cannot wait to share all the stylish outfits I find to give you inspiration for your own looks.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and I love the Pacific Northwest with all my heart. Living there means being surrounded by the raw, natural beauty of the earth at all times. However, I made the move to Manhattan last year to go to college at Seton Hall University. I am a marketing major that plans to use my business degree in the fashion industry. An old soul at heart, my days are filled with the lyrics of Sinatra and the words of Hemingway. This characteristic is reflected through my style as I stay close to a classic aesthetic. Dark wash jeans, a perfectly fitted white T-shirt and a pair of Converse looks just as good today as it did decades ago. Capping off this look would be my trusty baseball cap. I have an ever-growing collection of hats, and none of them go unworn. I don one practically daily.
My main passion is menswear. I love its standard for valuing quality over quantity. With the slow evolution of trends in men’s fashion, there is a greater focus on developing one’s personal style and building a wardrobe filled with timeless, investment pieces instead of keeping up with the flashing trends of women’s fashion.
