Hey there, fashion lovers! I can’t believe how much time has flown by and I’m already back for a second semester as a Style Guru. I learned so much last time that I’m ready to take on this fun challenge once again. First things first, let me re-introduce myself. My name is Kristen Bedasse and I’m in my senior year at Florida Atlantic University. I currently study Marketing with hopes of starting a career in the business of fashion.
For a long while now, fashion has been a major part of my life and is continuing to become an even stronger passion of mine. I love representing a part of who I am through the clothes I wear and sharing tips that I learn along the way. Since my last semester as a Style Guru, I have accomplished one of my big goals of re-launching my personal style blog: KnicoleStyle. Although it is still in its beginning stages, I’ve loved every moment of sharing my outfits with everyone. Be sure to check it out!
I take pride in the way I dress and always put effort into choosing my outfits. After all, I never know who I might run into! There isn’t a single word that could possibly describe my style. It varies on a daily basis and I get inspiration from just about everything. Some days I like to be girly, others I prefer the edgy look and sometimes I’ll even just surprise myself.
I’m so excited for fall; of course for the changes in weather but mainly because the fashion gets a bit more interesting. Currently, I’m lusting over the ’70s trend. I can’t get enough of the fringe and high-waisted bell bottoms that are making a comeback. I also love the classic plaid that continues to be a reoccurring trend, and not to mention everything else that comes with this season: dark lips, leather, hats and boots! I can’t wait to share with you all these trends plus many more that I spot on the Fashionistas/os around campus!
