A little over a year ago I was accepted into my dream college, the University of Southern California. I just wrapped up my freshman year and I will continue this fall as a sophomore studying business administration. I’ve already made some memories that I will remember for the rest of my life. College has been an amazing experience thus far.
I’ve been interested in fashion ever since I figured how to sew clothes for my Bratz dolls. This was probably around the age of seven. Since then, I have done several other fashion related projects. In high school I started a fashion club with my best friend. Together we also competed in DECA, an association for marketing students, and created a marketing strategy for Forever 21. I also like following fashion blogs and Instagram accounts to keep up to date with current styles.
As I grow older I find that my style is becoming more minimalistic. Although it is supposed to be summer, it’s been a little chilly here. I am wearing a peplum jacket that could either be worn casual or dressed up. I paired it with my go to black skinny jeans and some booties! Since I only wore basic colors I decided to add a pinch of color with my statement necklace.
I’m stoked that I will be a Style Guru this summer. I believe that is a great opportunity to keep up to date with trends and constantly seek fashion inspiration from my peers. I won’t be at USC this summer, but in my hometown Boise, Idaho. I love meeting new people so feel free to reach out!
