Hey, what’s up, hello?! My name is Kristin Clark, I am a senior majoring in Communication at the College of Charleston. I am so excited to be starting my third semester with CollegeFashionista. It has been a while since I have written a STYLE GURU BIO, but I am incredibly grateful to be back! I am no longer abroad (very sad) or in Manhattan (even more sad), but it is nice to be back in the sweet, sweet south with the hot humid air.
Style and fashion today is whatever you make of it. Dressing up in the summer can be hard because, lets be real, nobody wants to be sweaty while trying to look fabulous! Although it is a million degrees here, with 110 percent humidity and nearly impossible to not be sweaty, you cannot go wrong with a babydoll dress. I believe as long as you are comfortable and feel good, you probably look good. So that’s my advice for your everyday go-to.
For me, it’s looking presentable with a unique twist. Now starting my fourth year in college I have gone through many different personal styles but with so many interviews and class presentations I am sticking with the ‘adult look’ ..as I like to call it. Everyday day you can expect me to be wearing jeans whether they have cuts, rips or just plain and a cute monotone top that is complemented by my three favorite bracelets that I never take off, Lokai, He>i and my gold band. Also I have diagnosed myself with a shoe problem, my grey suede heels are my latest obsession. I love all shoes and can’t wait to share them with you!
I cannot wait to start reporting on the street style in Charleston! Be sure to check out my post every month!
