Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kristina Lee and I’m a sophomore at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. I have officially decided to major in communication design with a minor in multi-media authoring. This coming semester will mark my second semester as a Style Guru Intern with CollegeFashionista and I am extremely excited to continue photographing and writing about the fashion trends around Elon.
To fill you all in since I posted my last bio, throughout the fall semester I continued working with Elon’s student magazine publication, The Edge, as an assistant fashion editor and a designer. I have also been working as a marketing intern for Flamingo, a newly discovered photo-sharing application. Looking to the future, my hope for the summer is to be interning with a magazine or fashion company in order to put my skills to work through brand management, marketing, communications and/or design.
I would still like to describe my style as preppy, but also boho. Recently, with the cold weather coming on, I have been completely obsessed with booties (I may have four or five different pairs at this point), fur (not real, of course) and suede pieces. Obviously these obsessions are easily seen in the outfit that I am wearing. My camel suede booties are from Tory Burch, and I absolutely adore these because they go with so many different outfit combinations. The army green jeggings are from American Eagle Outfitters and the loose white turtleneck is from Marshalls. I have gotten such great wear out of these pieces and the best part is that they were a bargain! And finally one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is my suede and fur vest from Love Culture. Wear this with a long sleeve as shown above, or even over a dress when it gets to be a tad warmer. Either way, it makes the outfit.
I can’t wait for another amazing semester as a Style Guru. It’s going to be one full of new styles and trends!
