Let me start by saying I am thrilled to continue my internship with CollegeFashionista as a returning Style Guru for the fall semester! This summer, the CollegeFashionista team has helped me improve my communication skills and gain experience that will not only better me for this upcoming semester, but also for my future career as a public relations professional.
As we wrap up summer and transition into my favorite season, I can only anticipate the new fashion trends that will arise among Fashionistas/os around the University of Florida’s campus. The fall season is known to carry nothing but good vibes, from carving pumpkins on Halloween to roasting marshmallows fireside during Thanksgiving break—all done through the latest styles of outerwear. Some of which include the classic combinations boots, jackets, tights and scarves.
Although fall semester has begun, the Florida heat reminds me to hold off on the boots and scarves for now. Today’s ensemble consisted of a dressy white T-shirt paired with a classic pair of boyfriend jeans. I decided to keep my look semi-casual with a pair of blush-colored lace-up flats, (also known to be my recent shoe obsession). As for accessories, I added a flashy statement necklace and a white Michael Kors cross-body bag.
With that being said, I’m ready to put my fall fashion to the test and challenge my inner Fashionista this season—because even Floridians dare to take on weather below 80 degrees. So grab your pumpkin spice latte and join me this semester as I uncover my fall fashion favorites!
