Hello Fashionistas/os! I am thrilled to be able to share my looks with you throughout this winter and spring! I am a firm believer that every day is a new opportunity to show off your personality via style, which is why I look forward to every morning when I get to pick out my outfit for the day. Depending on the day, my looks could go from bohemian to preppy to classic, so it is always important to think about the day ahead of you and dress accordingly, and most importantly: have fun!
I have been a lover of fashion ever since I can remember. My idea of relaxation is playing dress up in my room where I am constantly experimenting and putting together outfits that I have never tried before. Due to my love of fashion, I am majoring in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and hope to enter the fashion industry doing PR for a major fashion brand.
The look I am wearing here perfectly encapsulates what I love about fashion and that every season brings new trends and ideas with it. The winter does not mean having to bundle up in whatever is the warmest, but instead it means embracing the season and playing up its trends. I have fallen in love with the winter skirt trend and this suede-embroidered skirt from Abercrombie & Fitch shows how just because it is winter doesn’t mean you have to live in leggings and sweatpants. I paired the skirt with a chunky knit sweater from Brandy Melville in order to have contrasting textures throughout the outfit. To top this look off for winter, there is nothing better than a skirt paired with over-the-knee boots. These suede boots by Blondo are my go-to piece this season. As for accessories, the hard-metal necklace and ring add yet another texture to the look and accent the colors found in the details of the skirt.
My goal as a Style Guru is to show people how every day is a new day for fashion and that even the most eccentric trend can be toned down and incorporated into your personal style. I look forward to posting more looks and hope that you are looking forward to seeing them!
