Hello! I’m Lauren and I am currently in my last semester at Ryerson University in Toronto. Being in the big city for school has definitely enhanced my interest in style and fashion. The urban setting of Ryerson provides endless opportunity to people watch and spot the latest trends in the city.
I attended an arts high school prior to university and although it did not determine my ultimate career path, art has always been a huge part of my life and style. Eventually, my passion for art expanded into an interest in fashion, photography and all things design, which led to my role as a Style Guru.
My biggest style icon growing up was always Audrey Hepburn. From her strong brows to her iconic little black dress, she has influenced such a large aspect of my personal style. I think my look encompasses some of the grace and elegance that Audrey exudes combined with the edge of a chic leather jacket and a great pair of shoes. In my day to day outfit, I love a natural makeup look, minimalist jewellery, and timeless statement pieces.
In this look, I went with my favorite super soft green wrap dress. I paired it with an always reliable black bootie and classic tan trench coat. I went with a simple and chic gray leather bag just big enough to fit all of the essentials.
