Hey Style Gurus! I’m so excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista family. I’ll be posting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (and potentially Charlotte whenever I go home). I’m a senior at UNCG majoring in French with two minors in Communications and Retail Consumer Studies.
After returning from a semester abroad in Rennes, France I have found myself completely obsessed with learning other foreign languages. I would like to add Spanish and perhaps Portuguese to my repertoire. I will most likely end up returning to school to further my education in the fashion industry; in doing so, I hope to have the opportunity to study abroad again.
A distinguishing factor regarding my style is my easily recognizable and separate entity that is my crazy, usually curly, hair. For the past year or so, I’ve been experimenting with various colors of the rainbow, and my current color can only be described as several shades of cotton candy. Something else you may have picked up on is my love of lipstick and anything else loudly colored. I also have a serious addiction to prints that I have zero plans of taming any time, ever.
I am thrilled by the simple things in life like the perfection that is visual merchandising and being able to find Vogue Paris in the U.S.
I’ve been writing news for my school newspaper for the past few years and I’m beyond ready to translate those writing skills into my more creative side!
