Who else is glad summer is over so now we can go back to wearing the clothes we actually like? Okay, well maybe not just yet considering Florida is stuck in a constant state of summer, but we can pretend we have seasons for the sake of all things pumpkin.
For those of you who may not know me yet, my name is Lauren and I’m currently a senior majoring in Humanities at Florida State University. This will be my second semester with CollegeFashionista and I couldn’t be more excited to continue writing for them. For the fall semester I’ll be posting on the 15th of the month, but if you’re pining for more #StyleGuruLove, you can always follow me on Instagram (and if you love golden retrievers I have plenty of pictures of my puppy nephew, Barnaby. You won’t be disappointed).
My personal style mainly revolves around the gray scale. I love mixing feminine silhouettes with edgier pieces like in this look. I chose a midi bodycon turtleneck dress in a neutral color and added chunkier elements such as my pony hair monk strap boots, black leather doctor bag from BCBG and a silver coin necklace to complement the gray dress.
If you see me running around campus, don’t be a stranger (because I’m probably lost trying to get from Montgomery to Williams and need help navigating. Sadly, I wish I was joking). I love hearing feedback from my readers and I’m always down to grab coffee and talk about style and life as a Nole!
Here’s to a RADÂ semester!
