Hi loves! My name is Lauren Livingston. I’m a freshman at Temple University in the heart of Philadelphia, where I study international business with a concentration in economics. I am so excited to begin my first semester as a Style Guru! After I graduate I aspire to join the Peace Corps and see the world before coming back to the United States and working on global advertising. My personal style fluctuates from bohemian to classic and cool, depending on the mood that I am in. My favorite places to shop are Free People, Nasty Gal and Brandy Melville.
My uniform of choice for the more moderate winter days in the east coast begins with my favorite possession, my black leather jacket (which makes me look way cooler than I actually am). It’s perfect because it goes with just about everything and emanates its own off-duty model vibe. I normally pair that with one of my dad’s old band T-shirts, which he has already worn in for me, and is always a great conversation starter. Paired with some distressed denim and heels, it is the perfect outfit for whatever I have to face that day. When I am on the go I love having a giant black bag to keep my essentials in, and everything is more fun with bag charms!
