Bonjour mon chéris! I’m Lauren-Francophile, lip-gloss hoarder and lover of all things Lilly Pulitzer. My hobbies include shopping, shamelessly promoting my Instagram page and explaining to my fellow college students that I am actually only 15. I like to obsess over my eyebrows and recite the exact length of my hair to anyone who will listen (it is 33 and a quarter inches long).
I am a sophomore at Rowan College, where I am studying biology. Rowan is filled with a diverse group of students who have introduced me to new beauty and fashion looks. My spectrum of style has significantly increased after attending college. My style ranges from classic and preppy, to edgy and bohemian.
As mentioned earlier, I take great pride in my hair. Although it is extremely difficult to find different hairstyles that will work with my long, cascading locks, I always find a way to make it work. I decided that loose curls would work perfectly with this outfit. To keep my hair healthy and strong, I always use a thermal soothing cream before applying heat.
My favorite part of creating outfits is choosing the accessories. Whether it is a chic Kate Spade purse or a shiny metal necklace, my accessories never fail to elevate the outfit. In this outfit, I am in love with the sheer dot tights—they are to die for! The tights take the outfit from kind of cute to totally adorable. The diamond choker adds a needed element to the outfit—formal, yet flirty and fun. Without the accessories, this outfit would be drab and… for lack of a better word, meh.
