Hi! I am Lauren Wallenfels and I am a current freshman at Michigan State University. I am studying broadcast journalism with a specialization entertainment. My dream is to one day be an anchor for E! News like my role model Giuliana Rancic was. I love to write about celebrities and their style and I love to be in front of the camera as well. Aside from my passion for the entertainment industry, I love to spend time with my friends and family, working out or just relaxing to a good Netflix binge watch session. This will be my first semester as a Style Guru and writing for CollegeFashionista. I am excited to share my personal style and the style of those around me with you all. My looks on a daily basis have a wide range depending on what the day has in store for me. I usually prefer to go for a casual cute look by wearing a simple flowing top and a cute pair of leggings. I spice up my outfits with a cute pair of shoes and some jewelry. Other days, I like to dress up a little more and go for a cute sun dress and and statement jacket of some sort, also adding jewelry and a favorite pair of shoes.
In my look above I chose to wear a flowing sun dress, with some flower detailing in the straps. The dress is perfect for a nice day and it allows you to breathe, while maintaining a girly look. I added some nude wedges to keep the feel of the look very light. As far as accessories go, I am wearing flower chocker;Â keeping with the vibe of the dress. I wore a simple pair of diamond stud earrings and added a charm bracelet to finish off the look.
