Hey everyone! My name’s Leah. I’m a sophomore at Miami University currently pursuing a major in journalism as well as a double minor in Spanish and graphic design. I’ve always been passionate about art, and after discovering my love for photography in high school, it wasn’t long until I explored my interest in fashion. I’m always happy when I say I’m a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, because they allow me to publish my interests through a creative outlet.
Personally, I’ve never felt like I had a specific style. The times are always changing and the trends are always shifting. You can’t afford to be chained down, especially in today’s fashion-motivated world. However, I’ve always stuck to the motto “if you’re feeling it, wear it.” There’s no sense in wearing an outfit you don’t completely love, because it’s obvious to everyone else when you’re not confident with your clothes. If I’m not certain what will pair well with a specific blouse or which shoes pair best with my outfit, my go-to is Pinterest. I have separate boards where I’ve saved hundreds of outfit ideas and clothes or accessories I want to buy. I recommend this to everyone when I say make Pinterest your personal fashion assistant.
For my outfit above, I’m wearing a white cable knit sweater along with dark wash skinny jeans. I also have on a pair of beige knee-high boots, courtesy of my mom for Christmas, with a checkered bouclé scarf from Forever 21 to finish the look!
