Hi Fashionistas. My name is Liliann Pineda, but you can call me lil! I’m super excited to be joining the Guru Gang for this semester! This is my first time interning for CollegeFashionista and I couldn’t be more stoked. I know it’s going to be a #RAD semester!
Now for a little bit about me! I don’t really claim one place as home, my Dad was in the United States Army so we moved around a lot. Currently I attend the University of South Carolina (Go Cocks!). I love my school and the unique street style that Columbia has to offer. Our college campus has a unique mix of southern charm with blending cultures from all over the United States. I’m super excited to explore these aspects of our campus community and show them to all of you!
Now for a little more about me! I’ve been a vegan for the past two years and I only purchase from cruelty free beauty brands. I also have a passion for iced coffee and my house plants. I hope to one day be the next Rachel Zoe, because she is literally goals. I have a huge passion for sustainability and I believe it needs to be incorporated more into the fashion world. At my university, I’m an intern and am in charge of a project called Reclaimed Runway. It is a fashion show where the garments must be made completely of recycled materials. It truly is an amazing showcase.
I hope to use my internship with CollegeFashionista to highlight the unique style Columbia has to offer and explore how to add more sustainable aspects to our everyday fashion. I’m genuinely so excited for this year and I can’t wait to see what it has in store!
