Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Lina Hebert and I am a sophomore at Northwestern University. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Vocal Performance (I know…weird combination). I vividly remember receiving my acceptance letter in the mail from Northwestern on December 14, 2013.  I think I screamed until I literally could not produce any more sound. After breaking my entire family’s eardrums, I said one thing: “Wait…what do people wear in the winter?” I know that makes me absurd, but I really had no idea. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and had never seen seasons so I thought it would be fun. Beanies and oversized sweaters always looked so cute. I knew it would be an adventure and it certainly was. Needless to say, I have seen it all: 18 years in Los Angeles and two years in Evanston.
I am so excited to be a Style Guru this summer so I can get back to my roots: sundresses and heeled sandals. Like most college women, I will be interning this summer, which means I am stepping it up. By this, I mean brighter colors, sassier necklines and more rips in those jeans, baby!  So this article is my first attempt. This beautiful Leith blouse is the perfect splash of color to add to your wardrobe for the summer.  Pair it with some sassy heels and a pencil skirt and you are good to go!  The asymmetrical skirt makes a great pair and is especially popular right now.  When better to rock this duo than in the sun?
Where will I get my inspiration, you ask?  From all of you, of course!  Right now, a lot of my inspiration comes from the blogs I follow. A few of my favorites are The Shop Laguna and Sincerely Jules.  So follow up Fashionistas/os and get ready for an amazing summer!
