Hey fellow fashion lovers! My name is Lindsey Joseph, I am a Senior at Temple University, where I study marketing. After graduation I hope to have a job as a buyer for a retail company like T.J. Maxx, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Urban Outfitters or Macy’s. I enjoy retail stores like those listed rather than an all one brand retailer because my wardrobe is very versatile and I have so many different brands mixed in it. Retail stores that carry many different brands allow me to be creative with my outfits and to mix and match different styles from two very dissimilar brands. I always found myself having a love for fashion, clothes and shopping, so I always knew that my future would be a career in fashion. I enjoy picking and putting together outfits for my friends and family to wear, I am basically their go-to personal stylist!
Being a Style Guru is the ultimate “having fun while working” idea for me. I love dressing in my best outfits and taking pictures to show them off, and to share them with my followers on social media or to anyone passing me on the street. Not only do I love wearing my own trendy outfits, but I also love outfit hunting on people. I become obsessed with best dressed girls and dissect any trendy outfit I see them wearing by brand and style. I am constantly seeing girls and guys on the streets of Philadelphia wearing such amazing outfits and I always want to know what the inspiration is behind each outfit, and that is why being a Style Guru will be a total blast for me!
I cannot wait to see all of the amazing outfits worn by the other Style Gurus and all of their awesome outfit finds. Looking forward to a RAD semester!
