Hello fellow fashion enthusiasts, my name is Lisa Pietrafesa. I’m a cheerleader, sorority girl and a marketing major at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. CollegeFashionista is the first step on my path to working in the fashion industry and I’m excited to get started!
I have always loved fashion. For as long as I can remember, my favorite extracurricular has been shopping. My favorite designers are Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. I am addicted to kate spade and am currently obsessing over Vince Camuto. Getting dressed is always an event for me. My favorite part of going anywhere is thinking about what I will wear.
If I had to label my personal style, I would use the word classic. I often wear feminine and preppy pieces. I always keep my eye on the changing trends, but I’m not one to sacrifice my own taste in order to be considered in style. While shopping I never buy anything that wouldn’t last multiple seasons. I especially love pieces that can be worn in any weather, like a simple sundress. On its own it’s perfect for summer but paired with a sweater and boots it translates perfectly to cooler fall and winter weather.
My current obsessions are espadrilles and summer suede. I never leave the house without my watch. The rose gold and beige complements my skin tone and is subdued enough to be paired with other metals like my favorite bangles. My go-to purse is an oversized tote that can easily carry all the essentials and books for class. Above all, I aim to be comfortable while never looking lazy.
