Hey everyone! My name is Lizzy Fletcher and I am a sophomore here at UMD! I’m a communication and English double major, which basically means that I love to read and write. A lot of people ask me what I want to do with my two majors and I always tell them that my dream job is to have my own cosmetic or clothing line. I would also love to be a Public Relations professional for a clothing company.
I’ve always tried to put a label on my fashion sense, but I’ve realized (through trial and error, no less) that I like many different styles. Whether it’s boho-chic or wickedly edgy, you’ll see me in a variety of different outfits and accessories. My outfits usually reflect the type of mood I’m currently in but, above all, I believe that what you wear should make you feel good—both inside and out. I know that when I’m wearing an outfit I feel good in, I actually feel more confident. I notice that I strut my stuff a little more and want people to see an outfit that I feel amazing in! I recently took a trip to D.C. to check out some amazing museums. I knew that I had to dress comfortably but I still wanted to wear something that would also make me feel good! I decided to pair a cropped V-neck sweater with a dark wash pair of jeans and these amazing gray boots! Being a Style Guru means searching for other students who are also just as confident in their outfits as I am in mine! I am so excited to start this journey with you guys and I hope that you’ll join me on my quest to find students who are lookin’ good both inside and out!
