Hello fellow Fashionistas/os. My name is Luke Cebula and I am currently a sophomore at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. I am studying Fashion Design and absolutely love it so far. Coming from Orange County, California, the move to NYC was a major decision for me. Not only is the weather a huge shock, but so is the everyday fashion. I am happy to say that my style now is a mixture of laid back Southern California and high fashion New York City. In addition, being that the Pratt Institute is located in Brooklyn, a lot of the fashion from Brooklyn has rubbed off on me. I like to wear tank tops and short-shorts, but I also like to add that New York City vibe to my outfits, such as a “hipster” necklace or chic sunglasses.
I am so excited to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this fall and show not only my style, but also many other of the styles around Pratt Institute. As the seasons change from summer to fall to winter, clothes change, hair colors change and attitudes change. I hope to capture all of it. I personally love the clothes I get to wear in the summer months because they remind me of my home in California. Although there is a lot more humidity in the city, I still get to wear the tank tops and swimsuits that I love to wear at home. I hope to be able to convey my sense of style throughout the semester, as well as others throughout my campus. I look forward to showing the great styles this semester!
