Hello fashion lovers! My name is Macy Harris (also known on social media as @MacyEleni). I am returning to the #RAD CollegeFashionista family for my fourth and (sadly) last semester. I am a second-semester senior studying Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development and I cannot wait to graduate and start the next chapter of my fashion journey. During this last semester at Ohio University, I will be bringing all things fashion, style and beauty right to your computer or iPhone screens.
I have a passion for all things pop culture and fashion, including Instagram stalking Kylie Jenner and waiting to see what fabulous celebrity outfit Monica Rose will put together next. I pull my daily inspirations from the entertainment industry, whether I am lusting over whatever outfit Lady GaGa is dawning on American Horror Story: Hotel or taking notes on the scream-worthy wardrobe of the Chanel’s on Scream Queens. You can always find me glued to the silver screen, that is if I’m not at the thrift store searching for a new faux fur coat.
I spend a lot of my time shooting, editing and uploading videos for my fashion and lifestyle YouTube channel, MacyEleni. My channel is something that I started in high school as a way to connect with other people that were passionate about fashion and longed for a way to express themselves. In the past six months, I have found myself evolving my channel into an online diary of my day to day life and all of the outfits that excite me.
For my final STYLE GURU BIO, I decided to incorporate some of my favorite pieces of the season. If you have read my past articles then it should come as no shock to you that I had to throw on a faux fur coat and this one that I just picked up at Forever 21 fit perfectly. The pattern is funky, yet the cool tones help to give it a minimalistic vibe. I chose to keep the rest of my look simple by wearing a baggy gray knit and a pair of distressed girlfriend jeans.
When it came to my accessories I decided to play up all of my favorite trends, including these fabulous platform booties from H&M and my blue Marc by Marc Jacobs satchel. What’s that gray little guy on my bag you might ask? Well, yes it is one of those adorable little puff ball keychains that we have been seeing everywhere lately. From Target to Michael Kors, it is all about that little purse puff.
I am in a little bit of seasonal depression over this being my last semester with CollegeFashionista, but let’s go out with a bang. I cannot wait to search deeper than I ever have before to bring you the best and most eye-opening content yet. I am so excited to hit the bricks and introduce you to the Fashionistas and Fashionistos of Ohio University.
