Hi there, everyone! My name is Maddie Savitt! I am originally from Minnesota and am a rising junior at Indiana University studying Apparel Merchandising with a Business minor.
I first discovered my love of fashion when I decided to attend a 3 week fashion camp in New York City (which has now come to be one of my favorite cities) back in 2011. During my time as a camper, I thrived on the opportunities I was presented with and realized fashion was something I truly wanted to spend the rest of my life pursuing. I am thrilled to take my love of fashion and spend my summer writing about it for CollegeFashionista.
I often describe my personal style as “celebrity off-duty,” often pairing flowy T-shirts with boyfriend jeans or T-shirt dresses with slip-on shoes. In my opinion, comfort makes the outfit that much more stylish.
Aside from my obvious love of all things style, I consider myself a pretty fun person. When I’m not binging on Netflix (where are all my American Horror Story fans at?!) or playing with my dog Mitzy, I find myself constantly doing new things. From playing piano and singing, trying the latest trend at Starbucks or pretzling myself into a new yoga pose, there’s never a dull moment in my life.
