Over the summer I fell even more in love with denim. Not sure how that was even possible, but yes, it happened. Working at a vintage and modern store really opened my eyes to different types of denim and all the crazy ways that it is worn. Vintage is my favorite type of clothing to wear and finding cool things to make on your own is cheaper and more fun.
The store I worked at this summer, Preservation, carried some of the coolest clothes that I have ever seen. The romper that I am wearing in my pictures is from Preservation and is the brand Astr. Astr has a creative mix of seasonal styles and has a very Mediterranean look with a bohemian feel. I put on some simple sandals from Target for comfort and a casual look. For accessories, I added my bright sunglasses from Forever 21 and my simple pearl necklace from a boutique in Southern Florida.
My style is very vintage with a taste of California bohemian. I love finding pieces of clothing that are very unique and making my own clothing sometimes as well. When I go shopping, I try to keep my eyes open for good deals and rare finds. Some of my favorite shopping places are markets, or cute little hidden boutiques.
Style is so exciting and finding new ways to wear things each season is so fun. Each season comes with new and exciting trends that you can take and add your own twist to.
