Hello fashion lovers! My name is Madison and I am so excited that I have gotten the opportunity to share my love for fashion with others through CollegeFashionista! I grew up in San Diego, California and currently go to school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I am a sophomore and am on my way to getting my degree in marketing.
The laid back beach vibes of San Diego have definitely influenced my style. You’ll often find me in jeans, a loose-fitting top, and booties or sneakers. A great pair of jeans should be a staple in any wardrobe. One of my favorite looks is a nice pair of dark-wash denim jeans, a great blouse, and a killer pair of heels. Add a great leather jacket and you’re ready for the runway!
My favorite style is the model off-duty. Models like Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are    two people that I look up to in terms of style. I love the try, but not too hard style of Gigi and Kendall and I often look to their outfits when creating outfits of my own.
I think I was always destined to be a Fashionista. My grandma got me a Nordstrom’s credit card when I was just a baby. Although I couldn’t use it at the time, nor does it work now, my Grandma knew that my mom’s love for all things fashion would eventually rub off on me.
I have always been mesmerized by my mom’s amazing shoe closet ranging from sneakers to pumps, including her one pair of Louboutin’s (which are only used for special occasions, of course). Shoes have always been a big passion of mine and I have now started my own collection of shoes that will hopefully live up to my mom’s one day.
I am so excited to be a Style Guru this semester!
