Hey guys! My name is Madison, and I am 22 years old. I am a sophomore at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) where I major in advertising marketing communications. I am a NYC native and have loved all things fashion and beauty since 1994!
I have been a professional makeup artist for the past three years and have learned the basics of fashion through the beauty industry. Beauty and fashion go hand in hand, and I have learned a lot about fashion through working in the beauty industry with people working in related industries.
I would describe my style as casual chic. Living in NYC, I am always on the go! Whether I’m off to a photo shoot, meeting with a client, or heading to a business class at FIT, I like to be comfortable, so I try to incorporate a touch of comfort into my daily outfit. Typically I am always drawn to neutral colors. I can always switch them up and make my outfits looks different by pairing them with other neutral pieces each day. Staples pieces in my wardrobe are body suits, hoodies, knit sweaters, and jeans. I love jeans. Boots are also a staple for me. They dress up an outfit for you and always give a chic vibe. I love a short ankle bootie with a boyfriend jean and a bodysuit or an oversized sweater with leather leggings and boots.
I am SO excited about blogging for CollegeFashionista this semester! I hope to make more Fashionista friends through this opportunity.
