Hi everyone! I’m Maggie, an incoming sophomore at Ohio University from Cleveland, Ohio, majoring in Commercial Photography and Journalism.I’m sooo excited to be a Style Guru this summer and give you guys a taste of my summer style and inspirations. Photography, music and fashion are my three biggest passions and that will definitely all be evident in my posts. My hobbies include: getting major sun at my job as a lifeguard, singing, photography (duh), reading, and hiking. I also have what I wouldn’t hesitate to call an unhealthy obsession with shopping, style and fashion (as every Fashionista should) and I’m always on the hunt for the best deals with an eye out for the latest trends.
Combining my love for photography and my love for fashion definitely influenced my style and made me think of fashion much more as an art form. I would describe my personal style as being modern-edgy with a hint of boho, and I believe there is no outfit that a leather jacket and hoop earrings can’t complete. My gray lace-up UrbanOG sandals go perfectly with almost any summer outfit, and my brown The Sak hobo bag looks awesome with a matching belt and leather jacket. One of my favorite summer trends is loose, flowy shorts, and ones like these, (similar to the ones I’m wearing above!), go with almost everything and elongate any set of legs.
