Hey there, Fashionista/os! My name is Maggie Trom and I am going to be a sophomore next fall at University of Minnesota- Duluth. I am studying graphic design with possibly a photography minor. I hope to work for a fashion or wedding magazine when I graduate, so I am excited to see where this internship will take me!
Ever since I started college, I have really gotten into clothes and tried to find my own style as the individual I am. I grew up in a small town where a lot of the same styles are repeated and although I enjoyed blending in with my hometown “homies,” I have started to take more risks and create cute outfits that represent me in a better way, instead of blending in with the crowd.
If I had to describe my style, I would have to say it’s mostly soft, cute and comfy. I absolutely LOVE neutrals and floral patterns. Those seem to look the best with my light complexion and blonde hair. I also love wearing rompers, jumpsuits, leggings and anything else that looks cute and is super comfy at the same time. I am a busy girl, so I like to keep my outfits comfortable but also wear things that represent my personal style.
The outfit I chose for this article is a perfect example of my style. The soft cream-colored sweater I found is a staple for me—it goes with almost everything! It is the perfect thing to put underneath some cute overalls like the ones I’m wearing. Normally, I have a hard time finding overalls that fit me just right, but these are so stretchy and fit me perfectly! The gladiator sandals go together perfectly with the outfit because they match the brown stitching in the overalls. Accessories are always a necessity for an outfit like this. I am wearing an assortment of bracelets, a choker necklace and stud earrings.  I love the gold in these accessories and how they compliment the outfit in a soft and subtle way.
I am so excited to be styling all summer with you guys!
