Hello everyone! My name is Maria Elekes, and I am a fashion merchandising major at O’more College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee. I like adventures, outdoors, photography, and all things fashion.
I grew up just outside of Nashville, in a suburb called Brentwood, where I went to high school. When I graduated, I was completely unsure of where I wanted to go in life. I had applied to nine schools, and ended up going to Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, for Nursing. In my first semester there I realized I wanted something much more arts related, so I decided to transfer to Belmont University back in my home town of Nashville. I stayed undecided for two semesters, and then found fashion. I transferred a third time to O’more College of Design, and changed my major to fashion merchandising. In my free time I am a freelance photographer, I also paint, draw, and write poetry.
After I graduate, I am hoping to work for a fashion magazine in New York City, and continue my photography on the side.
The outfit I am wearing is one of my favorites. The jacket I have on is denim with sequence sleeves, and I hardly take it off. You can find a slightly similar denim jacket with some pretty fab sleeves here. I’m also wearing a light, bohemian, denim colored knit top, and I paired it with my favorite sculpt denim jeans, and black booties. My style is usually described as “cute,” “one of a kind,” and “bohemian”. I also like to push the boundaries a little and wear things that are out of the box sometimes, it makes putting on an outfit fun.
I love making new friends so feel free to message me on Instagram: mar.elekes or mariae.pics.
