Marina here, I am so excited to be joining CollegeFashionista for my third semester! Let me tell you a little about myself; I am an island girl (Nantucket, for those who’ve heard of it), a junior at the University of New Haven, marketing major also studying business management and graphic design. I am a firm believer in confidence is key, you make your own happiness, and coffee three times a day is a necessity.
Social media is my obsession, I mean that is what I want to do when I grow up. I love Instagram and Snapchat, I think pictures are the way into people’s hearts and souls. I love to travel (peep the Instagram). I have studied abroad in Paris and have lived in Belize. I have also gone to countless other countries and on many other adventures. I think staying in one place gets boring after a while.
When it comes to fashion, I think everybody is different and it is all about dressing for your body and your personality. When I find something I love, I tend to buy it in one of every color. The sweater I’m wearing, I own it in three colors. It goes great with jeans and leggings. I have a passion for chokers, sunglasses and trying new things. Comfy is great as a college student, but sometimes you have to mix in some pieces that stand out (think shoes and jewelry). I think finding the perfect lipstick is both a curse and a blessing because sometimes you love it so much, you don’t want to venture into trying a new one.
CollegeFashionista has been such a great experience and I can’t wait to see what else it brings. I can’t wait to have another RAD semester here.
